We recently stayed in unit 9B at Peninsula Grand, after staying in several other units on the property in the past. This unit was great and you will get exactly what you see in the pictures and in the commentary. There were three couples of us, so having a king size be in each bedroom was a huge plus.

This place was great! A penthouse and all the good things that means. Clean, zen (no clutter), secure, comfortable and quiet. There are two bedrooms, one K, one 2 Qs new beds w/memory foam mattresses extremely comfortable.Well-stocked kitchen with all the staples just add food. The view was spectacular! So close to the docks - it was fun watching the cruise ships dock in the mornings, reading a ships name and looking it up on Google to read its history. The balcony had another thoughtful touch the owners installed stainless steel hooks to hang your gear to dry. Plenty of diving opportunities. I recommend Sand Dollar if you scuba, theyre right across the street. There is offstreet private secured (guarded) parking. You can park a rental car or scooters but the taxis are abundant and easy to hail as well. Perfect conditions for a building thats not too close to the most crowded, touristy areas. This will definitely be my first pick when I get a chance to come back.

We were met at the airport and guided to the property. It was like family was waiting for us. The property was everything and more than described. There was even daily maid service included which we didnt expect. We had a great time and will definitely be back. (March 2016)

We arrived in Cozumel and were met with Amber and Rodrigo and it was apparent that they cared from the get-go. Our unit had an issue with its internet connection and they both saw that with a daughter arriving on her own in Cozumel the next day and a sick father in a far away country we needed to be incommunicado and got it working right away. The service and attention to detail we received in our unit was fabulous and both Amber and Rodrigo know the island really well. You cannot go wrong with yourcozumel they are great and we highly recommend them and their service. Darryl Chemel

"Two weeks in Heaven" My family and I spent two glorious weeks scuba diving, resting and looking out at the most beautiful water in the world. I cant recommend Casa Calypso and the wonderful staff of Your Cozumel Vacation Homes enough.

"Christmas in Paradise" We just spent a week at Casa Calypso and everything was great. Amber and Rodrigo helped us ahead of time with recommendations on diving and car rental so when we got there everything very smoothly. We were greeted by amber and Rodrigo at the house. Everything was in place and ready for us. Alex from alex Scuba came the next day (Christmas Day) to get our sizes for diving gear and met us at our pier the following day to take us on wonderful underwater adventures. Alex took us on long awe inspiring dives during the week which included a shipwreck, which was a highlight. Amber and Rodrigo dropped by the house a couple of times during the week to check up to make sure everything was good --- which it was. Beautiful location. Beautiful home. Wonderful people.

"Best House on the Beach" Fabulous location and views and house as described on website - beautifully and comfortably furnished. Exceptional property managers that go the extra mile. Delicious chef prepared daily lunches.

"Wonderful house" Casa Calypso was even better than the pictures portrayed. The view is awesome and house was very spacious for 11 adults and 3 kids. Had everything you needed...lots of kids toys for the beach and family games, beautiful bathrooms, beach towels, Wi-Fi, and laundry machines. Amber and Rodrigo were extremely helpful in answering any questions we had at the end of each day, helping us book snorkeling and car rentals, where to grocery shop, took care of any issues right away, etc. Even the house cleaners did an excellent job. The only disappointment was the sand on the man-made beach (since its iron shore mostly in Cozumel). It was not soft enough to walk on without shoes. I believe due to hurricanes in the past most of the sand was gone. By the little cove in front it was softer as you entered the water. The complex is located about 1 mile north of San Francisco beach, so if you are used to walking this distance it can be a good walk. Some of us jogged down to the stretch of beaches for exercise. However, I would recommend a rental car as the complexs radio to call a taxi was broken at our time of stay. The best and under-advertised beach on the island is within the Punta Sur park...seriously the "most beautiful beach" with powder white sand extending far out into the clear waters. Overall was a fun trip for our large family group!

"This Casa is wonderful!" Great oceanfront Casa with tons of room. Big beautiful bedrooms with equally spacious baths for each. Nothing but elbowroom and water views. We used the cook service and loved it. You wont be disappointed.

"A very comfortable, relaxing and extremely well accommodated vacation" Cooking and maid service were impeccable. The Home was more than I imagined, the internet pictures did not do it justice! A location just far enough away from the down town area. The pool the beach and the pier were great. I really cant think of anything I didnt like about the property or service!

"Great Getaway" We found it! A great getaway from the tourist scene. As scuba divers we enjoyed a daily pick up at onsite pier from Alberto Dive Instructor business name El Pulpo. Also, really enjoyed the privacy and relaxing location of this villa. The villa was very comfortable and roomy and had everything we needed, maid, cook and more. I highly recommend the cook on a daily basis. If you need something from town he will bring it when he comes to cook. Filo the cook is the best and you will not be disappointed we werent. Great pool and great snorkeling just off the pier lobster, lion-fish, rays and more. Dont miss out go and experience for yourself.

"Great house, fabulous management!" The house is large and comfortable. We really enjoyed the pool. Everything was perfect, Your Cozumel services were excellent!!!! Five family members, ranging from a teenager to grandparents, stayed in this home. The house is wonderfully appointed and comfortable. Three of us are divers and the convenience of pickup from the property pier could not be better. What has made this property a return destination for our family is the management. Rodrigo has made the ease of our stay exceptional!

"Paradise" We completely enjoyed our stay at Costa Del Sol, The unit was spotlessly clean and had top of the line amenities. There was plenty of room in the unit and we took full advantage of the upper patio and cooked on the gill most days. The location was perfect for those wanting solitude from the town yet conveniently located to run daily errands to the market. Rodrigo and amber were fantastic property managers and any issue we had was quickly taken care of This was our 2nd trip to Cozumel and if we ever go again we will certainly stay at Costa Del Sol! Please spend some time (and money) in the shops, restaurants and markets off the main drag. You will get a true feel for how wonderful the area is and help contribute directly to the locals that own those establishments.

"Perfect Vacation in Cozumel" Just left the crystal clear waters of the island and the warm hospitality of the Cozumelenos. The villa was spacious for our family of 5 (2 adults & 3 young kids) and very clean. The absolute best part of the villa is the upper patio which overlooks the turquoise blue sea. A highlight of the trip was spotting a pod of dolphins in the water while we were eating breakfast on the patio one morning. The villa is in a good location south of town - 10 min brisk walk (or $8 USD taxi ride) to local beach clubs and about 15 min drive ($15 USD taxi) into town. My husband (a diver) appreciated that the dive op would pick him up at the dock off our beach area - no driving into town to catch the dive boat! Rodrigo and amber, property managers, were very attentive and helpful (with recommendations, arranging car rental and shuttle from airport) and made everything go smoothly. We have traveled throughout the Caribbean and found that Casa Catarina is an excellent value and Cozumel was a perfect place to spend a relaxing vacation with family. Look no further for a great vacation.

"Great" Amber and Rodrigo were like our personal valets. They made the trip seamless and very enjoyable. The property is spacious, well appointed, and quiet. A great trip!

"Absolutely wonderfully relaxing and beautiful!" Casa Catarina is an amazing place to vacation. The location and amenities made it a 10 on our list of vacation homes. We were steps to the beach and dock. The dive boat picked us up each day with no problem. The home is spacious and the upper deck divine. Amber and Rodrigo were wonderful on-island hosts. They were accessible and responsive to even the simplest requests. Michel was so very easy to work with. From my first contact, to refunding the deposit earlier than expected, it was a pleasure. We will certainly book again at Casa Catarina!

"Loved Casa Catarina - great home, location and price!" Casa Catarina is everything listed in its bio and more. The home is wonderfully large, spacious and clean! Well kept, in great condition, with all the amenities you would ever want or need on an island vacation. Michel (the owner) and Rodrigo/Amber (the caretakers) are great people to work with. No question or need was left unanswered for long. Everything was great! Sunsets on the 2nd floor balcony were the highlight of each day. Quiet, pristine and well groomed is this property/community. It was a blessing to stay here and we hope to return very soon.

"Great experience" From the time we arrived at the airport until the time we left we had a very pleasant experience with both the property and with amber and Rodrigo. They were very knowledgeable and helpful with the information about the area and the property. They are first class and I would recommend contacting them about any travel to area you are planning.

"All around amazing family vacation for all!!!" We just returned from a sun and fun filled week at Casa Dana, and we miss it already. There wasnt a time we werent having a blast... We were a group of seven: 4 adults, one 2 year old, one 12 year old, and a 16 year old. Weve been to Cozumel several times before on cruises, and on our last trip had such a great time we decided to make a whole vacation out of it. From the beginning - once we found Casa Dana - planning our stay there was effortless. The house managers, Amber & Rodrigo were beyond amazing! Since we had a toddler, they grocery shopped for us before we arrived and arranged our shuttle from the airport to the house. We had sand toys & a bed all set up for our youngest. The teenagers were in the ocean from the time they woke up until we made them come inside at night. We thought wed have to leave the premises to snorkel, but not so! Right off "our" pier we saw Lion Fish, sting rays, flounder, conch, sea urchins and a huge huge school of shimmering fish. --- We all have high pressure day jobs, and there wasnt a cell phone in sight all week!! Thats saying a lot - my husband has 2 Blackberries that go off night and day -- but we were all truly relaxed because we had no worries --- Rent an open Jeep and drive. Cozumel is friendly, safe, and fun. We ate at a new place every night (from cozumelinsider.com --> Carmillos and Parilla Mission were excellent) and had some of our best meals...frozen yogurt at Bamboo Berry almost every night. We are planning our next vacation in Cozumel, and wouldnt hesitate to stay here again. Our only issue now is: should we come back just for Spring Break or come back in January as well?!?!

"Great for Family Gatherings" We had three different families staying at the house for a wedding, and it worked out great. The facilities and staff were very helpful. With ages from 65 to 4, there was plenty activities for everyone.

"A Wonderful Family Trip" There were 7 adults and 2 children, ages (6 & 4), who stayed at Cozumel Sol during December, 2010. The whole rental process from start to finish was excellent. The house was perfect for us, and had everything that we needed. All questions and situations were handled excellently by Rodrigo of the Property Management Company. He helped us with shopping, arranging dinners and anything else that we needed. This was a wonderful family vacation and we cant wait to do it again!

"Amazing!" A client asked me to put together a birthday celebration for his wife for her 50th, escort the group and make it an adventure they wouldnt forget. The house is lovely and was perfect for 8 people, though could accommodate more. Rodrigo met us and went thru any questions we had. Before arriving I had sent down a grocery list and everything was already in the house waiting for us and he later went and got a birthday cake for us as well. He drew maps for us and recommended places to eat and shop. He was the perfect host for us. The house is well maintained and has everything you would need for a weeks stay. Loved having the privacy of a home with all the amenities including internet! We loved snorkeling in front of the house. The hot tub and pool are great. The location is perfect. We had our dive instructor, Martin pick us up right from the dock in front of the house 2 days for scuba diving and snorkeling. And we had the chef come to the house twice to prepare meals. Went to Playa for Coba Ruins tour, Atvs and ziplines, and swimming in the Cenotes. Perfect Vacation and planning another adventure trip already for 2011!

"Could not have asked for a better place for vacation." Our entire extended family (12) had a wonderful time. Our ages ranged from 2-76 years. Everyone enjoyed our stay at Cozumel Sol. We have been telling everyone we know about our awesome vacation. We would recommend very highly and plan to return when the opportunity comes again. We didnt want to leave. We love our home away from home in Cozumel. Our grandkids told us, "Grandpa and Grandma thank you so much for buying the house in Cozumel for us." I didnt have the heart to tell them that we were only renting it for a week. We will be back. We have many great photographs and memories of Cozumel Sol. Thank you so much.

"Had a great time this year" This is the third time that we rented in this community. The first house was 3 bedrooms, right on the water and was fantastic. The second year we rented a four bedroom, but it was close to the guard/gate. We didnt like the location. The weather was also unseasonably cold. This year we rented another four bedroom much closer to the water. It is basically the same layout as last years house, but much better situated and the furniture more comfortable. The weather was also great. We went with another family and the house easily accommodated all of us. Over all, it was a great vacation and we very much enjoyed the house.

"Best Cozumel Vacation" We enjoyed our stay at Cozumel Sol, the house was beautiful and comfortable. There was plenty of room for our three children and another family of four that traveled with us. Amber and Rodrigo (the caretakers) were there to welcome us, with our refrigerator stocked! They also helped us with our excursions. The beach out front is amazing and perfect for children to swim in. We had a blast jumping off the private pier!

"Home away from home!!" The place was even better than the awesome photos. The place is huge. Upper deck looks out over the pool to the ocean and beautiful sunsets. Two families of 4 fit w/ room to spare!! Roped of swim area in the ocean is terrific for snorkeling especially for kids. Rodrigo and amber were extremely accommodating with everything - great people. Amber met us at the airport and we followed her back in a rental car. She even found us beer on the way back!! We will definitely be back.
